Maurice grew up in Greensboro, North Carolina and matriculated to North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University before enlisting in the United States Marine Corps. In 2013 Maurice was called to be in full-time ministry. He received his training at North Carolina School of Biblical Studies and is currently pursuing his MDiv at Grand Canyon University.

 

Maurice is a devoted father, leader, and visionary.  In 2018, Maurice was led to plant Gate City Church in Greensboro. Today that work has relaunched itself taking on the name The Well Church. Maurice has a vision to effectively spread the gospel in the Triad  as more than 50% of residents do not have any church affiliation. Maurice’s goal is to unite the citizens of Greensboro and the surrounding areas by connecting them to each other and to Christ.
